The Lead NetSuite ERP Systems Administrator is the primary owner and subject matter expert for Lumanity's NetSuite ERP platform, including day-to-day administration, cross-module configuration, system health, release readiness, and coordinated change across a complex enterprise systems environment.
As a member of the Enterprise Applications Group, this role acts as a proactive technical partner to Finance, Business Operations, IT, and other application owners. This is not a pure developer or integration architect role; however, it requires strong enterprise systems thinking, integration awareness, and the ability to guide scalable solutions across NetSuite and connected platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for NetSuite, leading coordinated change efforts across NetSuite modules and partnering with other NetSuite resources, module experts, Finance, Business Operations, IT, and external partners.
- Own the administration, configuration, performance, reliability, security, and day-to-day health of NetSuite, including roles and permissions, workflows, forms, records, saved searches, dashboards, release readiness, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate and manage the health of integrations and data flows between NetSuite and connected business systems, ensuring data integrity, clear ownership, effective error resolution, and consideration of upstream and downstream impacts.
- Partner with integration developers, IT, and third-party resources to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, validate design options, and support integration changes; ability to solve smaller technical/configuration issues is expected, while full integration development is not the primary responsibility.
- Support NetSuite-enabled business processes in a services-based environment, including project/PSA processes, billing, revenue, AP, expenses, HRIS-related data flows, reporting, and financial operations.
- Shape, deploy, and formalize NetSuite standards and best practices, maintaining documentation, conducting system and data-quality reviews, advising on system limitations and options, and managing workflows and administrative functions within financial systems.
- Facilitate adoption of new processes and system changes through clear stakeholder communication, user expectation management, UAT planning, training/support, and effective prioritization of development and enhancement initiatives.
- Proactively identify process and system improvement opportunities, maintain a NetSuite roadmap/backlog aligned to business priorities, and help the Enterprise Applications Group reduce recurring issues through root-cause problem solving.
- NetSuite Release, Roadmap & Change Ownership
- Own NetSuite release management, including evaluation of release notes, feature prioritization, testing strategy, integration impact review, deployment coordination, and post-release validation.
- Guide NetSuite roadmap planning and change prioritization in partnership with Finance, Business Operations, IT, and other enterprise application owners.
- Serve as a proactive problem solver and team player who takes responsibility for outcomes, communicates risks and status clearly, and drives issues to resolution without requiring day-to-day direction.
