Responsibilities / Position overview

The Account Director works closely with the other senior colleagues in account services to contribute to the overall management of the department through assisting with training, operations, and organic development of existing accounts.

 

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Provide exceptional client service, consistent with Lumanity account service standards
  • Overall responsibility for facilitating moving, tracking, and delegating of assigned projects on a proactive basis
  • Overall responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of financial deliverables (i.e. budgets, invoices, forecast, etc.)
  • Accountability for and oversight of team maintaining accurate records within client chosen publication technology program (i.e. Datavision or PubSTRAT)
  • Responsible for the identification of new areas to expand organic growth
  • Foster collaborative professional relationships and cultivate positive team dynamics.
  • Overall accountability and leadership across account(s)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 plus years of account management experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
  • Demonstrate intermediate understanding of the clinical development process and how this can be impacted by strategic communication planning
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, quickly changing environment
  • Excellent financial acumen
  • Excellent project management skills, including organization, prioritization and delegation skills
  • Flexible, deadline oriented, and ability to work as part of a multifunctional team
  • Certified Medical Publications Professional via the credentialing program offered by the International Society of Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) preferred
