The Director/Senior Director, Consulting role is responsible for engaging with our clients to provide strategic and scientific guidance, to design and develop solutions, and to lead teams to deliver high impact engagements.
The primary focus for this role is to lead and advise HEOR delivery teams in support of US-based clients across a range of project types, including:
- Early value strategy and HEOR services
- US payer HEOR launch readiness strategy and execution support
- Translation of value evidence to support payer-facing communications including AMCP formulary dossiers, value decks, preapproval information exchange, and HCEI decks
- US health economic models
- US HTA strategy, engagement, and technical submissions including ICER and other national, regional, and local payer HTA bodies
- IRA readiness and engagement strategy
- Post-approval product differentiation strategies and related HEOR services
- Collaborating with experts across global business areas at Lumanity to ensure the best possible service and integrated support for our clients.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Is a primary owner of client engagements and responsible for client satisfaction and delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Delivers on highly impactful financial (revenue, budget, etc.) targets by developing and delivering scientifically rigorous, profitable, and commercially relevant solutions to our clients.
- Spends approximately 25-35% of time on client delivery, 30-40% on sales/client relationship building, 15% strategy development/leadership, and 10% collaborative Lumanity initiatives.
- Seeks out new and repeat business with prospective and existing clients – ensures a continuous flow of business from client engagements.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, understands their unique business strategies, issues, and relationships.
- Collaborates with HEOR sales team to advance new opportunities and takes lead role in proposal development to ensure high quality and timely proposals are provided to clients.
- Serves as a trusted advisor, internally and externally, by applying consultative critical thinking skills.
- Advances company vision by partnering with colleagues in HEOR and across Lumanity to address our clients’ most complex needs.
- Provides thoughtful insights into competitor activities and general market trends to identify potential growth areas.
- Develops and maintains capability communication materials to offer deep insights, innovative solutions, and impactful product offerings.
- Delivers projects in accordance with legal and contractual obligations.
- Analyzes market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for business growth.
- Attracts high-caliber talent and supports development of future leaders through formal or informal mentorship and line management responsibilities as required.
- Contributes to the strategic direction of the capability and is a positive and active contributor to management meeting discussions.
