Responsibilities / Position overview

The VP, Client Services (Patient Engagement) will be a champion for both the client and Lumanity, demonstrating strong ownership of each brand and its unique attributes and challenges, while actively and positively contributing to its future potential. The VP, Client Services (Patient Engagement) will manage strategic branding processes, lead launch initiatives, spearhead RFPs, and oversee every aspect of the client’s experience. In addition, the VP, Client Services (Patient Engagement) will be knowledgeable of Lumanity’s structure, processes, and functions inside and out. The VP is a steward of their brands and of our culture.

 

Essential Functions

 

Client Relationship

  • Provide clients with strategic insight and direction.
  • Identify and seek out new business initiatives, including growing business with current clients.
  • Seek out opportunities to grow business with current clients.
  • Cultivate strong, trusted, and long-term relationships with key decision-makers within client teams and develop in-depth knowledge of the customer organization.
  • Actively anticipate any issues that may arise with the client and address them in a proactive manner, keeping Leadership informed.
  • Demonstrate confidence, authority, and logical decision-making to the client and your team.
  • Have the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of the account and make recommendations for change.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure continuity, quality, and smooth flow of client deliverables.
  • Be able to accurately translate client needs into an action plan. Keep Leadership up to date on account activity.

Strategy and Tactical Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic and tactical planning process.
  • Stay up to date with current marketing and advertising trends.
  • Possesses a deep and nuanced understanding of the disease state, brand(s) and client’s business needs and challenges. Acts as a wellspring of information and resources for colleagues seeking information about the brand or disease.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of marketing and advertising trends.
  • Ensure client feedback is interpreted and attended to where appropriate.
  • Builds and fosters strong relationships with both internal team members and client stakeholders.
  • Assists creative team in advocating for the creative output and direction, offering perspective and solutions as necessary when talking through the work with the client.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and manage all project financials, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Demonstrate the fiscal acuity to lead a profitable account by negotiating budget needs, provide input while developing the fee, and producing accurate and timely fee reconciliations.
  • Alongside PM, prepare SOWs for client with appropriate deliverables, hours, and milestones.
  • Provide accurate financial information to the Finance community, the client, and the Leadership team.

Team Lead Responsibilities

  • Identify, train, develop, familiarize, and reward team members to Lumanity as well as to the clients.
  • Possesses a positive, engaging, motivating personality with ability to connect with the client and team members, and the authority to lead diverse teams of individuals.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews with team members as well as regularly provide feedback throughout the year.
  • Motivate, mentor and supervise team while providing professional development and direction. Always stay in tune with team members and know how they want to grow professionally.
  • Demonstrate and advocate for decisions that exemplify Lumanity’s core values and brand promise.
  • Build trusted working relationships with all direct reports.
